In February of 2008 a few of us decided to go the Florence Junction area and pick a trail to run. We decided on Woodpecker Mine. Vance and Jessica Reed are in the white dodge and my sister Sandra and I are in the Liberty.
This is Vance stuck between a rock and a...well you know! Hahaha! Poor guy, I felt for him. I would have never imagined anybody getting stuck on this part of the trail. His front passenger side tire fell into a hole that was deeper than the height of his tire and at the same time his rear diff got into the position you see in the picture. He couldn't move an inch in either direction. It just wasn't his day. Nothing a hi-lift jack, some good size rocks and a tow strap couldn't handle.

I think I need to make a skid plate for the tranny before I crush it!

take me down to the woodpecker city where the grass is green and the rocks are slippery. oh won't you please take me there. how bout new years.
How bout an overniter? Wed the 31st we'll hit a trail then set up camp and have a huge bonfire. New Years Day we'll hit another. Either one could be Woodpecker! Start plannin!
Ya we should start plannin. That would be sweet. I better get workin on my jeep. I don't know if I will be stayin the night though. I am sure my wife will be huge.
